I attended New York Fashion Week 2025, working backstage through ELLE México. I contributed to the production of runway shows and completely immersed myself in the creative process of bringing a runway show to fruition. Additionally, I interviewed designers, models, makeup artists, and stylists on their journey and experiences in the fashion industry, gathering content for ELLE México. This experience was beyond my wildest dreams and the energy in every runway show I watched (and worked in) was incredibly electric and unique in its own way.
I perceive fashion as architecture, design, expression, and one of the most influential forms of art (at least in my own life). I grew up in India, and seeing fashion through a global perspective has deepened my understanding of its cultural impact and meaning.
Bringing a vision to life involves many layered complexities - from design concepts to craftsmanship, stage production, and interior design - each role just as important as the next. Attending NYFW 2025 only deepened my love for fashion and inspired me to continue experimenting with fashion design and style in my own unique, expressive manner. I am forever grateful for this opportunity!
